The Return of Wonder Woman

Every now and again, I change my avatar on social networks to Wonder Woman. I love her.  I never read one of the comics.  I watched the television series religiously when I was a wee girl, but ask me anything about it other than Linda Carter portrayed her and she had a fabulous outfit, and I am bound to give you blank stare.  For whatever reason as a little girl I identified with her.  Once in a while when I need a mental or emotional boost, I will close my eyes, imagine myself twirling into that awesome outfit and let her strength and confidence take over until I could gather my own again.  I've never told anyone that.  Until now.  Everyone has a thing.  This is one of mine.

So it seems a little unsettling that Wonder Woman is popping up in the world again in popularity.  *Enter the overanalyzer* What does this mean that she's showing up so much now at this point in my life?  While I let my subconscious mind handle this question, here's where she's showing up.  I hear another Wonder Woman tv series is being made, M.A.C. Cosmetics has a new Wonder Woman line out, and who knows what else is on the horizon that I haven't heard about.  Maybe she will give a whole new generation of young girls a boost like she did and has done for me.  That would be my hope.  But in my 3-year-old pig-tailed spirit, she will always be all mine.

While I'm not a M.A.C. girl (I love the look of the makeup, just not on me), I was thrilled to see that they had some accessories that I could totally get on board with.  And here's what I ordered:

Because a girl needs an Invincible mirror and a tote to carry it in....
